The Ferno Model 71-S Two-Piece Basket Stretcher is built for most rescue situations and separates in half for compact storage or backpacking to a rescue site. Stretcher halves store nested together. It provides full-body protection when patients must be moved across uneven or hazardous ground, with room for blankets and life-support equipment.
- High-density polyethylene shell supported by a permanently attached, heavy-duty aluminum frame
- Chemical, UV, rust, and corrosion resistant shell for long service life
- Molded-in runners and handholds for easier handling over rough terrain
- Replaceable closed-cell foam mattress attached inside for patient comfort
- Optional 5-section flotation collar attaches for water rescue assistance
- Halves store nested; assembles quickly and secures with pins
- Brass grommets positioned for use with the Model 418-1 Adjustable Lifting Bridle (use tag lines when lifting)
- Four 2-piece, 5-foot quick-release patient restraints; easily positioned for each patient
